Finally got a call from the doctor's office.
Good news is there is no other cancer that they can see in the right breast and none in the left breast.
Not-so-good news is the lymph nodes are prominent and they want to biopsy them before the surgery to see if there is cancer in them. They also found something that appears to be a cyst on my liver and they want to do an ultrasound of that. I'll get a call tomorrow sometime with the appointments for those.
Also got a call from the genetics lab to get an okay for the out-of-pocket costs, which I did okay because it is something that we need to know before surgery. They know I'm scheduled October 3rd for surgery so are going to prioritize the testing and hopefully I'll have the results back before the 3rd.
