Today, I had my first (of many) follow up appointments... a mammogram to be precise, of the right side only. The left side will be done at the next one as it will only be checked annually. Although, the next appointment is in August. With radiation starting soon, the surgeon wanted this done before radiation. After August, it'll be every six months for 3 1/2 years. On the plus side, I get results the day of the test instead of having to wait 2-3 days for the radiologist to read them and he gave me an all clear.
Tomorrow I will be setting up the radiation treatment schedule and will probably start that in the next week or two. Then just follow up appointments with the various doctors to monitor everything.
Otherwise, feeling pretty good. Things are starting to taste normal again. Hair is growing well and getting darker - started off whiter than snow. Still quite a bit of tingling in the feet, but it has improved enough that most days I don't completely lose all feeling in my feet. Hopefully, it'll keep improving. Not much else to report. Though I will add a picture once my hair gets a bit longer... Maybe ;)
