My appointment last week went really well. It was the sixth Taxol treatment (of twelve total) and my tenth chemo treatment overall (out of 16 total). I'd been having issues with numbness in my hands and feet so the week before they'd lowered my Taxol dose. My hands got better but my feet got worse. So they lowered my dose a second time. The results were nearly immediate as I had some feeling back in my toes that night.
My hair is about a half inch long now... still really white, although the texture is no longer baby fine. Bill doesn't understand why I won't say it's blonde instead. It's not got any color to it at all except for a glaringly bright white. I am hoping it will darken up soon.
Next week I see the doctor again. I think she'll be happy that I'm no longer borderline with my iron counts and that the numbness is pretty much gone.
Love & Hugs!
dye all the hair that's out punk pink and then just let it grow out... pink fringes!
