Just a quickie!

Update!!

Sorry for the quiet. I've been back to work a couple weeks now... By the time I get home, I'm too tired to write. Now that I've gotten back into the routine again, I should be a little better about updates. Got moved to yet another department while I was gone. I think I've been to every one of them multiple times now. Would be nice to have a permanent home for a while.

Been feeling pretty good too. Haven't had to deal with a fever or anything for a while. Next round of chemo is Wednesday, and I'll be on Taxol. Twelve cycles (weekly) and I'll be done with the chemo. It's a lighter dose, so hopefully the side effects will be milder and I'll miss less work. Though, the "fun" bit may be the pre-meds... one's a steroid and another's Benadryl (yes, that Benadryl... an allergy med). The steroids tend to wire me and IV Benadryl knocks me out cold. One of my co-workers tried to convince me to come to work after treatment. Somehow I think I'd be either bouncing off walls or sound asleep at my desk... either way, not much use.
