With the new IV port, everything went exceptionally well. Didn't need to have a new IV run or have any burning or any problems at all really. I think I even got done earlier than from Round 1.
Feel a little cruddy today... a bit a nausea but meds are controlling that nicely and as long as I eat, I'm okay. Have a bit of a headache, but that's due to one of the meds I take. Tomorrow all the IV anti-nausea meds start wearing off and I'll just be using the prescriptions to control the nausea. So far, I've not gotten sick and I am hoping to keep it that way.
I'm also doing things while I'm have a bit of energy but I'm not pushing myself this time. Work will just have to deal with it. I think part of why I got sick last week was because I pushed myself on the Friday following the chemo and I should've stayed home. So, most likely, I'll be home tomorrow as well and go back to work Monday.
Overall though, I think I'm doing a bit better this time around. Spirits are good and Christmas is coming up quickly.
I'm off to the clinic now for a Neulasta shot... it helps boost my white blood production and makes me achy for a couple days. Growing pains all over again... ugh. At least it doesn't make me grow!
Love & Hugs!
