Slightly Overcooked

Radiation treatments continue... I have now completed 25 of 37 total treatments. The last one was set for June 21st but they have no power today so my schedule will be revamped on Monday to add in today's missed treatment. I have three left with the current setup and then I have to undergo another CAT Scan and simulation session so they can tighten the focus for the final nine treatments. Hopefully, I'll be able to avoid smirking (or even laughing) my way through the simulation (see Gigglesnort). So, no thoughts of how I look like I'm getting ready for CGI or topographical maps...

I saw the doctor on Tuesday and got a prescription for a steroid cream to help alleviate the discomfort from the burns. Every treatment, I'm cooked just a little more and I'm pretty sure by the time I'm done, I'll be well done but hopefully not "ruint."

Otherwise, I'm feeling pretty good, though still perpetually tired but that's due more to not sleeping well than anything going on. Hopefully with the switch to second shift starting Monday, I'll get a little more sleep. I know I'll certainly not miss getting up at 4 AM every day.

My hair is growing quickly and the curls have arrived. It's still "reverse aging" and getting darker... not that you can really tell in the picture here. ;-)
